National Reception

Join national colleagues for an evening reception with drinks and bites provided by Immigrant Food. This gathering is a chance to share and connect with others who care deeply about telling our story and shaping what comes next.

Planet Word Museum (the reception venue) is an immersive language experience located at the historic Franklin School, the first public school building in the United States. The museum opened in 2020 as the first voice-activated museum in the world, bringing words and language to life. Attendees will have private access to three floors of exhibits from 6-7pm.

The venue is a short, 10-minute walk from the conference hotel (transportation will not be provided). If you want to walk to the venue as a group or share a car service with other guests, please plan meet us in the lobby beforehand. We will plan to leave together at 5:15pm.

National Reception attendance is included for all conference registrants, but registrants will need to wear their conference badges in order to gain access (there will be special guest badges for any +1s).

Suggested attire is festive or festive casual.
