Director of Arts Integration, Young Audiences of Louisiana

Roscoe Reddix Jr. is a teaching artist, actor, storyteller, and dancer. He served as the Director of Arts Integration on the team which founded the Young Audiences Charter School. He is currently the arts integration leader for the YACA’s Early Learning Academy. His guiding star is the belief that art is the birthright of every human being, that creative expression is an innate part of our existence. His work in and out of the classroom weaves together words, music, and movement to engender a sense of community and ignite cultural memory.
