Aisha Noel
Since joining Arts for Learning Virginia in 2019, Aisha Noel has drawn on her background in theater and nonprofit work to strengthen relationships with education and community partners. In her current role, she advances the organization’s mission by managing artist engagement and cultivating partnerships that expand program reach and sustainability. Aisha ensures artists are supported and valued while fostering collaborations that enhance community impact and organizational growth. Prior to joining the organization, Aisha worked with the Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board and the Boys & Girls Club of the Virginia Peninsula, and she completed an arts administration internship at Signature Theatre in Arlington, Virginia. She holds a two-year acting certificate from the National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts and is pursuing dual certifications in arts management from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Among her theatrical credits, Aisha has performed with the Williamsburg Players and appeared in a production at Norfolk’s historic Attucks Theatre. She is a resident of Newport News and serves on the Norfolk Public Schools Community Engagement Council.
