Charles Butler serves as the Director of the Education Innovation and Research (EIR) initiative at Arts for Learning Maryland, where he leads a multi-year, federally funded study focused on advancing arts-integrated learning in Math and ELA. With a background in program design, instructional coaching, and school partnerships, Charles specializes in building strong teacher–artist collaborations and developing sustainable arts-integration models across districts. His work centers on elevating classroom practice, supporting school leaders, and using data to drive equitable outcomes for students. Charles is committed to creating joyful, rigorous learning environments that empower teachers and inspire transformative change in schools.
