A4. Honoring the Past, Activating the Future: Engaging Alumni as Leaders, Mentors, and Lifelong Advocates
Emma Parker is a Ball State University graduate with a Master’s in Special Education and a BA in Dance and Psychology. She bridges arts and education with expertise in dance, choreography, and inclusive programming. A former professional dancer trained under Diane McIntyre, Heidi Latsky, and David Rousseve, she has championed accessibility in the arts since age 15. Emma served as School Coordinator and lead instructor at Dancing Wheels Company and School, educating over 8,000 students. At the Center for Arts-Inspired Learning, she advanced from Teaching Artist to CEO, leading curriculum development, professional training, and programs such as CAL Sprouts to expand arts-integrated learning across Northeast Ohio.
